Refund Policy

7-day money-back guarantee

Every new subscription is backed by a 7-day money-back guarantee. If within 7 days of your first charge you decide the Service is not for you, email support@44protocol.com from your account address requesting a refund. We refund the most recent charge in full through Stripe (typically same business day) and cancel the subscription so you are not billed again.

The guarantee is available once per customer on the first paid subscription period only. Renewals are non-refundable — cancel from your account before the renewal date. If you switch plans, create a new account, or have previously used the guarantee under any account or email associated with you, you are not eligible for a second guarantee.

When you can request a refund

You may request a refund of your most recent charge if all of the following are true:

• The charge was made within the last 14 days.
• The Service was materially broken on our side during the period covered by the charge (e.g. extended outage, broken core feature) and we failed to remediate within a reasonable time.
• You contacted support@44protocol.com describing the issue and gave us a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within 5 business days.

When refunds are not issued

We do not refund:

• Renewal charges where you forgot to cancel before the renewal date. Stripe sends a reminder before each renewal; we recommend setting a calendar reminder if your renewal date is critical.
• Any second or subsequent request from the same customer after the 7-day guarantee has already been used on a prior subscription or account.
• Unused time on an annual plan after the first 14 days.
• Charges where the Service was operating as documented but did not meet your subjective expectations.
• Charges where you violated the terms of service.

If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues to the end of the paid period.

How to request a refund

Email support@44protocol.com from the email address on the account. Include your account email, the approximate charge date, and a description of the issue. We acknowledge every refund request within two business days.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend the account pending resolution. We will always respond first to a written refund request before any account action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes are announced on the changelog.
